Symptoms
VE has status RESTORE_FAILED in CP and when you try to stop or start this VE, the following error will be thrown:
[IM] P60002: This operation is invalid for the current VE state: RESTORE_FAILED
The same behavior is possible in FAILOVER_FAILED state as well.
Cause
Software issue CCU-20127: Impossible to manage VE if state is RESTORE_FAILED
By design, The only operations allowed for a failed VE restore operation are restore and delete.
Resolution
It is required to understand the cause behind the failure and try to restore the VE again.
Contact Technical Support if it is required to fix the state manually anyway.
