Symptoms and how to resolve them

The following errors might be faced upon using the latest available Dynamics365DeploymentAssistant.2018.05 document with autoconf.py script of Office365-18.2-87 package version:

The Plan "Dynamics 365 Business Central External Accountant" defined twice.

How to resolve: the Name field in the .json file should be modified to be unique.

Exception: Unable to create the Resource Category 'Other Add-Ons' - the Category description is empty. 

Exception: Unable to create the Sales Category 'Business Applications' - the Category description is empty. 

How to resolve: Modify the Description field in the .json file to make it non-empty.

Exception: License 8f9819d1-456e-42d0-9396-ed0438d8007f not found

How to resolve: This offer should be removed from the "Service Plans" section of the .json file.

Configuring possible upgrades for the plan 'Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan Enterprise Edition (Nonprofit Staff Pricing)'

KeyError: 'PlanId' 

How to resolve: Remove the Service Plan from the "Possible upgrades" section of the .json file.

Resolution

The errors faced are reported to Development team and will be fixed in future Dynamics365DeploymentAssistant document release.
