How To Reconfigure Your System Before Running the Cleanup Tool

Before running the cleanup tool, which is used to remove the modules EOLed in CloudBlue Commerce 21.0, reconfigure your system so that the following requirements are met:
Important: This article is intended for the Linux Qmail, Hosted Exchange, and WebHosting Linux modules only. Do not use it for any other EOLed modules.
For the Power Reseller model:
- In your system, there are not customer subscriptions with the resources of the EOLed module.
- In your system, there are not reseller subscriptions with the resources of the EOLed module.
- Under reseller accounts, there are not service plans with resource rates of the resources of the EOLed module.
- Under reseller accounts, there are not service templates with the resources of the EOLed module.
- Under the provider account, there are not service plans with resource rates of the resources of the EOLed module.
- In the task manager, there are not failed tasks related to the EOLed module.
For the Value Added Reseller model:
- In your system, there are not customer subscriptions with the resources of the EOLed module.
- In your system, there are not service plans with resource rates of the resources of the EOLed module.
- In the task manager, there are not failed tasks related to the EOLed module.
To reconfigure your system, complete these steps:
For the Power Reseller model:
- In your system, switch customer subscriptions with the EOLed resources to service plans that do not include such resources, or remove these subscriptions if they are no longer needed.
- Under resellers accounts, taking into account the hierarchy of reseller accounts in your system, perform these actions:
- Remove resource rates of the EOLed resources from service plans. Then, synchronize each of these service plans with subscriptions:
- Select this service plan.
- Select the General tab and click the Update Subscriptions button.
- In the Resource(s) Sync Options group, select the Remove Obsolete Resources checkbox.
- Click the Update Subscriptions button.
- Remove the EOLed resources from service templates.
- Switch reseller subscriptions with EOLed resources to service plans that do not include such resources, or remove these subscriptions if they are no longer needed.
- Under the provider account, remove resource rates of the EOLed resources from service plans. Then, synchronize each of these service plans with subscriptions:
- Select this service plan.
- Select the General tab and click the Update Subscriptions button.
- In the Resource(s) Sync Options group, select the Remove Obsolete Resources checkbox.
- Click the Update Subscriptions button.
- Under the provider account, ensure that there are not failed tasks related to the EOLed module.
For the Value Added Reseller model:
- Under each account that is used for selling or reselling the EOLed service, switch customer subscriptions with the EOLed resources to service plans that do not include such resources, or remove these subscriptions if they are no longer needed.
- Under the provider account, remove resource rates of the EOLed resources from service plans.
- For each reseller account that is a direct child account of the provider account and has delegated service plans with resource rates of the EOLed resources, synchronize these delegated service plans. To synchronize delegated service plans of such a reseller account, perform the following actions:
- In the provider control panel, select this reseller account.
- Select the General tab and click the Synchronize This Reseller and Sub-Resellers button.
- In the Synchronize Plan Resources group, select the Remove Obsolete Resources checkbox.
- Click the Synchronize button.
- Under each account that is used for selling or reselling the EOLed service, synchronize service plans that include the EOLed resources with subscriptions. To synchronize a service plan with subscriptions, perform the following actions:
- Log in to the corresponding control panel and select this service plan.
- Select the General tab and click the Update Subscriptions button.
- In the Resource(s) Sync Options group, select the Remove Obsolete Resources checkbox.
- Click the Update Subscriptions button.
- Under the provider account, ensure that there are not failed tasks related to the EOLed module.
