O365 provisioning task failed: “InvalidCustomerGeographyFault”

Symptoms
Provisioning of subscriptions for El Salvador country failed with:
“InvalidCustomerGeographyFault”.
In accordance with MSFT, OA sends an incorrect ISO3CountryCode for the El Salvador country. The issue could occur for other counties as well.
Cause
Software-related issue #APSA-14507.
Resolution
